Huntley’s District 158 Parent Union formed in 2020 to discuss issues related to the COVID-19 response, testing, quarantine, and protocols within our school district.
Since that time, we have expanded our focus to concerns about curriculum biases; critical race theory instruction under the guise of equity, diversity, and inclusion; the changing sexual education standards; additional issues related to local public education.
We believe parents should be the driving force behind teaching our children about societal issues, and that public education should be focused on core education needs and real-world skill development.
Our Parent Union is a 501c3 nonprofit registered in Illinois (SeeThemSmile NFP.) If you would like to support our work, please visit our GiveSendGo fundraising page.
